Starpick

Privacy Policy

Effective October 9, 2026

Starpick collects no data. The app has no account, no server, no analytics, no ads and no tracking. Nothing you do in Starpick is sent to us or to anyone else.

Your photos

Starpick asks for access to your photo library so you can swipe through your photos and videos. It reads them on your iPhone and never uploads, copies or shares them. If you allow it, Starpick also writes to your library, but only when you ask it to: to create an album or to mark photos as favorites.

Starpick never deletes a photo on its own. Deleting happens only when you choose to empty items from the Archive, and iOS asks you to confirm it again. Deleted items go to "Recently Deleted" in the Photos app for 30 days.

What is stored, and where

Starpick keeps its own small database on your iPhone: your decks and their names, the stars each item has, which items are archived, when they were taken, and two counters (stars awarded, items deleted). Items are stored by the identifier the Photos app gives them, not as copies of the photos.

This data never leaves your device through Starpick. Like all app data, it is included in your iPhone's own backups if you use iCloud Backup or back up to a computer; those backups are handled by Apple under your settings, not by us. "Reset Starpick" in the app's settings deletes all of it, and deleting the app removes it too.

Links that leave the app

"Rate Starpick" opens the App Store, and "Language" opens the iPhone Settings app. What happens there is covered by Apple's privacy policy.

Datenschutzerklärung

Gültig ab 9. Oktober 2026

Starpick erhebt keine Daten.

Deine Fotos
